Newly added elements
Hey Guys!
As you may have read from the previous posts, we plan to re-shoot our i-Movie tomorrow at Yu Yhee's house. Other than that, we have also completed the poster promoting our campaign as well as some bookmarks containing facts about certain food that may be harmful to our bodies. The poster was designed and drawn by none other than our art director, Siti Aminah. The bookmarks were also her idea but all the girls pitched in to help in the writing of the facts on the bookmarks.
I have also added a link list which are some websites that can help you understand more about consumer rights. Also, I've added a RSS feed to this blog which basically means that by clicking on the RSS button next to the blog address in the address bar, any updates on posts on our blog can be placed either in your google reader or google homepage. For those of you who have Apple Macbooks, you can add our blog RSS feed into your Webmail application. That way, while you check your mail you can also check to see if there are any updates on our blog.
Enjoy!
p.s. only 2 more days to vote!

Re: Blog
Hey everyone.
I think this project is going really well and all feedback/comments/constructive criticism are appreciated and will be taken note of :)
However, please do not leave unrelated and/or derogatory messages as this blog is strictly for the consumeRights project and is not a personal one. We will not acknowledge (i.e. reply) any spam.
On a brighter note-
I think the project is going to be awesome! We've settled the necessary details about this Saturday, which is the day we're going to redo the filming of the i-Movie. So all Form 5 Commerce please please please make a note of all this if you are going:
Location: Yu Yhee's house.
Time: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (if we can finish earlier, than at that earlier time)
*Remember to bring anything you might think is needed, e.g. change of clothes, outfits, props.
Feel free to vote and while you're online, do spread the word about our blog!

I-Movie Reshooting
For the i-movie, we're going to re-shoot because the previous i-movie was not related to the Consume Rights. Many corrections has to be done. For example, language and "last-minute scripts". There were a lot of comedy moments and not appropriate to the topic. We're going to shoot the i-movie this Saturday. We'll also try our best to correct the corrections and complete the i-movie as soon as possible. We sincerely regret for the inconvenience. Thank you.

The i-Movie
In conjunction with our campaign which helps consumers be more aware of the food they eat, we have decided to film a short i-Movie to help explain what our campaign is all about.
The filming of the i-Movie started last Saturday when a few of us namely, Mokhzairi, Hazrul, Siew Pun, Min Hua, Naveen and Jasmine , headed down to The Curve to scout for some random shoppers to interview at the Cold Storage supermarket. However upon asking for permission to film and interview some shoppers, they were told that by the manager that they weren't allowed to do so.
Without any hesitation, all 6 of them headed to IU (International Understanding) Day which was held at Cempaka Damansara to see if they could interview a few students or even teachers. At the end of the day, they managed to interview a few people present on that day.
The next day, the same group of people including a few more such as Yee Keat, Colin, Sophia, Yu Yhee and Hwee Yin, went to One Utama at around 2 pm in the afternoon to start interviewing people. They met many interesting people, that is some who were willing to co-operate and some who weren't as co-operative. Regardless, at the end of the day our objective was achieved as the crew managed to get 3 interviews.
It was an experience for the group because they were able to meet the different kinds of people that make up the world and learn that not everything comes easy. For example, getting turned down at Cold Storage was a lesson to teach us that not everything will go according to planned so in life we need to be creative as well as innovative just as our crew was in attending IU Day. As for the others who did not tag along, listening to their encounters and experiences was a good exposure for us as well.
At the moment, we are still filming more interviews such as interviewing Dr. Rizal and Ms Tye today. We shall be interviewing more teachers tomorrow as well as on Wednesday. A very big thank you to Dr. Rizal, Pn Farah, Pn Sapura and teachers for supporting our campaign. And of course a very special thank you to Cik Nik Zakiah, our Biology teacher, for suggesting this campaign which has not only made people aware but also made us as a class learn while having fun.

An Introduction
Welcome to our blog!
From time to time we will be posting posts about our campaign, ConsumeRights. The purpose of this campaign is to educate other people about the dangers of not checking the food they eat and their rights to report any manufacturer who has violated the Food Act 1983 and the Food Regulations 1985.
Our campaign came about when we were learning a chapter about Food Technology and Production. Our Biology teacher, Cik Nik Zakiah suggested forming a campaign to educate the other students about what we were learning. From there, an organising committee was formed:
Manager: Rachel Chiah
Assistant Managers: Lim Hwee Yin
Katherine Tan
Treasurer: Katherine Tan
Blog Administrator: Vanessa Ho
Timekeeper/Supervisor: Jasmine Loh
