I-Movie Reshooting

For the i-movie, we're going to re-shoot because the previous i-movie was not related to the Consume Rights. Many corrections has to be done. For example, language and "last-minute scripts". There were a lot of comedy moments and not appropriate to the topic. We're going to shoot the i-movie this Saturday. We'll also try our best to correct the corrections and complete the i-movie as soon as possible. We sincerely regret for the inconvenience. Thank you.

The i-Movie

In conjunction with our campaign which helps consumers be more aware of the food they eat, we have decided to film a short i-Movie to help explain what our campaign is all about.

The filming of the i-Movie started last Saturday when a few of us namely, Mokhzairi, Hazrul, Siew Pun, Min Hua, Naveen and Jasmine , headed down to The Curve to scout for some random shoppers to interview at the Cold Storage supermarket. However upon asking for permission to film and interview some shoppers, they were told that by the manager that they weren't allowed to do so.

Without any hesitation, all 6 of them headed to IU (International Understanding) Day which was held at Cempaka Damansara to see if they could interview a few students or even teachers. At the end of the day, they managed to interview a few people present on that day.

The next day, the same group of people including a few more such as Yee Keat, Colin, Sophia, Yu Yhee and Hwee Yin, went to One Utama at around 2 pm in the afternoon to start interviewing people. They met many interesting people, that is some who were willing to co-operate and some who weren't as co-operative. Regardless, at the end of the day our objective was achieved as the crew managed to get 3 interviews.

It was an experience for the group because they were able to meet the different kinds of people that make up the world and learn that not everything comes easy. For example, getting turned down at Cold Storage was a lesson to teach us that not everything will go according to planned so in life we need to be creative as well as innovative just as our crew was in attending IU Day. As for the others who did not tag along, listening to their encounters and experiences was a good exposure for us as well.

At the moment, we are still filming more interviews such as interviewing Dr. Rizal and Ms Tye today. We shall be interviewing more teachers tomorrow as well as on Wednesday. A very big thank you to Dr. Rizal, Pn Farah, Pn Sapura and teachers for supporting our campaign. And of course a very special thank you to Cik Nik Zakiah, our Biology teacher, for suggesting this campaign which has not only made people aware but also made us as a class learn while having fun.
